Makeup Tools,

The remains of objects that were likely used for eye makeup and the application of scented unguents provide proof that the oldest cosmetics known to archaeologists were in use in Egypt in the fourth millennium BC. In the Roman Empire, cosmetics were widely used by the time the Christian era arrived. To darken the eyelashes, brows, and to contour the eyelids, kohl (a preparation based on lampblack or antimony) was applied. The cheeks were reddened with rouge, and a variety of white powders were utilised..

Makeup history;

With the fall of the Roman Empire in the fifth century AD, cosmetics disappeared from most of Europe along with other cultural accoutrements. The Middle Ages saw a rebirth of the practise when crusaders returning from the Middle East carried cosmetics and perfumes with them. During the Renaissance, cosmetics were once again widely used in Europe, and the main production centres were France (from the 17th century on) and Italy (15th–16th centuries). Initially, only monarchs, their courtiers, and the nobility wore makeup; nevertheless, by the 18th century, practically all social levels were using it. During the conservative Victorian era of the 19th century, respectable society disapproved of the open use of cosmetics.

Eye makeup,

 which is typically seen as essential to a full maquillage (makeup application), consists of mascara to draw attention to the eyelashes, eye shadow for the lids in a variety of vartions, and eyebrow pencils and eyeliner to define the edges of the eyelids. The components in eye cosmetics must be safe because they are applied close to a particularly sensitive area.

Hair preparations;

Include shampoos without soap (soap leaves a film on the hair), which are actually scented detergents; gloss- and body-enhancing treatments like resin-based sprays, brilliantines, and pomades; lotions with alcohol as an active ingredient; and conditioners for damaged hair. Ammonium thioglycolate, a chemical, is used in permanent-wave and hair-straightening preparations to loosen hair from its natural set. Hydrogen peroxide is used to bleach hair to a blond tint, while permanent or semipermanent dyes are used to add colour to dull or mousy-colored hair.

Lipstick;

Since the mouth is a prominent feature along with the eyes and can have beautiful colours and textures, lipstick is almost a global cosmetic. When applied, the fatty base of lipstick spreads smoothly despite being hard in its own right. Typically, pigment—mostly reds but sometimes titanium dioxide, a white substance that adds brightness and cover—provides the colour. Lipsticks are created to the strictest safety standards because they are applied to a delicate surface and ultimately consumed.
